How To Make Your Own Beer Can Advent Calendar

On Instructables, Mike Warren (aka Mikeasaurus) has created a tutorial on how to make a Beer Advent Calendar, one that will reveal a different can of beer each day. Underneath the scored and numbered poster board printout, there is a grid made of shipping tubes and cardboard that holds all the beer. In his, he’s left the 25th and final tube full of Pepto Bismol and acetaminophen.

This is a fun twist on the boring chocolate advent calendars I had growing up that were never very satisfying – to eat or to open. As an adult, my tastes are more refined. I still like chocolate, but I have a new mistress, and her name is beer.
